Screw Jacks
Screw jacks convert rotary input into controlled linear motion for pushing, pulling, lifting, positioning, and holding loads. A worm gear or bevel gear turns a self-locking trapezoidal or ball screw, giving precise, repeatable movement without a separate braking system. METEC supplies five worm gear and bevel gear series covering loads from 250 kg to 200,000 kg, for use singly, in tandem, or as multi-point synchronized lifting systems.
