Linear Motion
Electromechanical linear actuators pair a built-in motor with a worm gearset and a self-locking trapezoidal or ball screw, giving controlled push-pull motion for lifting and positioning without a hydraulic power unit. All units accept compression and tension loads and install in any mounting position. METEC supplies four series covering loads from 200 kg to 10,000 kg, from compact plug-and-play units to high-performance tube-construction actuators.
Electromechanical Linear Actuator
ELA
A fully enclosed actuator built for robust, general-purpose lifting and positioning. A sealed aluminium housing carries the worm gearset, thrust bearing, motor, and thrust-and-guide tube construction.

A compact, plug-and-play actuator for demanding industrial duty at minimum size. Suited to fulfilment lines, conveyors, metal processing equipment, and packaging/filling lines.

Electromechanical Screw Ram
ALS-R
An alternative to hydraulic or pneumatic rams, with the precise positioning, synchronization, and self-locking load holding of a machine-screw actuator. ALS is the open version; ALSR adds a hard-chrome-plated thrust tube and cylinder.

High-Performance Linear Actuator
HLA
Combines the proven HSE worm gear screw jack with the ALSR tube-construction screw ram for high-load, high-speed linear motion in a single actuator.
